24-25 February 2026 - Training for compound events analysis

This is the third event of the series of training sessions dedicated to increasing the research capacity at UBB  will be conducted by UAntwerpen and CMCC and focuses on the training on the detection and characterisation of compound events. UBB researchers will be trained to study these complex events to improve understanding by uncovering key drivers together with their interaction and interdependence. The training will focus on specific types of compound events that impact socio-economic sectors such as human health and agriculture.

10.00 – 11.00 – Hands-on session on characterization of compound extremes for Romania
